Founded in 2009
Gamingoase was established in 2009, initially focusing solely on the sale of video games. Over the years, we continuously expanded our product range to include gaming consoles, computer peripherals, and other consumer electronics.
Thanks to early partnerships with major distributors, we were able to offer even better prices to our customers from the start.
2011 – Trusted Shops Certification
Since 2011, we have proudly carried the Trusted Shops certification, reflecting our high level of customer satisfaction and strict adherence to quality standards.
2013 – 50,000 Customers and New Logistics Partnerships
In 2013, we welcomed our 50,000th customer. Major contracts with logistics partners like DHL, Deutsche Post, and other freight companies enabled further savings, directly benefiting our customers.
2015 – Growth and Relaunch
By 2015, we had successfully processed over 75,000 orders. New partnerships with some of Europe's largest distributors allowed us to expand our business continuously.
In June 2015, our online shop was redesigned, featuring many new functions, including optimized mobile display, improved navigation, and the ability for customers to extend manufacturer warranties during the purchase process through partnerships with leading insurers.
2016 – 100,000 Customers and Business Expansion
In November 2016, we surpassed the milestone of 100,000 customers.
Both revenue and staff numbers continued to grow steadily, reflecting sustainable and healthy growth.
That year, we achieved a trade volume of around 6 million euros and expanded our offerings to include B2B wholesale stock.
2017 – European Expansion and New Headquarters
2017 marked a significant milestone:
Thanks to a premium partnership with Amazon and the expansion of our sales channels into other European countries, we reached a revenue volume of approximately 17.5 million euros for the first time.
We also finalized plans for a new headquarters with a larger warehouse to meet the growing demands of our expanding team and inventory.
2018 – Continued Double-Digit Growth
In 2018, we once again achieved double-digit growth.
Our total turnover rose to 22 million euros, with a significant expansion of our B2B division.
Today, Gamingoase supplies numerous businesses across Europe with consumer electronics.
Additionally, we received the “Certified EHI Online Shop” seal from the independent EHI Retail Institute, awarded only to companies ensuring a transparent ordering process and enhanced customer data protection.
2019 – Moving into Our New Headquarters
In October 2019, we moved into our newly built headquarters.
With approximately 2,000 square meters of warehouse space and state-of-the-art pallet storage systems, we significantly optimized our logistics processes.
By the end of the fiscal year, our annual revenue surpassed the 40-million-euro mark for the first time.
2020 – Awards and Further Growth
In October 2020, Gamingoase was recognized by ComputerBild and Statista as one of the "Top Climbers" in German e-commerce, honored for exceptional growth and outstanding technical quality.
We closed the fiscal year 2020 with a turnover of 51 million euros, once again achieving approximately 25% growth year-over-year.
This accomplishment secured us 184th place among Germany's highest-grossing online shops (according to the Statista study "E-Commerce Market Germany 2022").
2021 – Certified Training Company and Securing the Future
Since 2021, Gamingoase has been a certified IHK training company.
We proudly welcomed our first apprentice in the field of "E-Commerce Management Assistant" — a strategic step to meet future HR market demands more flexibly and sustainably.
