Battery Law (BattG)

Many devices come with batteries or rechargeable batteries that are necessary for operation. In connection with the sale of these batteries or rechargeable batteries, we as distributors under the Battery Act (BattG) are obliged to inform our customers about the following: Old batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. Consumers are legally obliged to bring batteries to a suitable collection point. You can also send your used batteries to our dispatch warehouse (Gamingoase, Obermühlweg 29, 91217 Hersbruck). Old batteries contain valuable raw materials that can be recycled.

Batteries and rechargeable batteries are marked with the symbol of a trash can.

The garbage bin means: Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste.

The signs under the garbage cans stand for: Pb for lead; Cd for cadmium; Hg for mercury.
These chemical signs signal that a certain limit of the specified chemical substances in this type of battery is exceeded:
HG: more than 0.0005% by weight mercury
Cd: more than 0.002 weight percent cadmium
Pb: more than 0.004 weight percent lead.

Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG)

In the product range of Gamingoase.de are also electrical appliances (such as craftsmen equipment), which fall under the ElektroG. The symbol for the separate collection of electrical and electronic equipment represents a crossed-out wheeled bin. The disposal of this electrical equipment in the household waste is prohibited by the ElektroG (law on the placing on the market, the return and the environmentally sound disposal of electrical and electronic equipment)! You as a consumer are required to dispose of them through the local collection and return systems of the municipality.
